How to own animal print?
First, let’s break one of the biggest stereotypes. Many think that animal print is vulgar, extravagant and looks provocative. Don’t be deluded.
Home accessories with animal prints, including leopard, cheetah and tiger are an exquisite and versatile choice. Fashion gurus suggest looking at it as you would at black colour; hence a subtle and elegant choice.
The same as black, animal print fits anywhere, with anything and will look relevant during any season. And here are 5 winning ideas for your home.

1. Mix animal print with other patterns to achieve a natural look
Animal pattern trend is like the Ultraviolet trend - it’s a statement on its own but can easily be lost in a neutral interior. So, if you want to enhance the vibrancy of the prints, don’t be afraid to mix them with other expressive patterns and bright colours.
When an animal print is repeated across the room and mixed with other bright colours and dynamic patterns, it loses its provoking features and becomes a background pattern.
Mix and match animal print with any other patterns you love – stripes, squares, vintage swirls, scandi patterns to achieve the desired extravagant effect.

2. Animal print isn’t only for striking interiors
Animal prints resemble the patterns found in wild nature, so they’re perfect for creating a nature-inspired interior. Animal print will look tasteful even in a very clean and simple home.
Use a few home accessories with animal print, spreading them out across your entire home or room interior. To support the nature-inspired theme more subtly, blend a few ethnic accessories, including tassels, embroidered cushion covers, canvas with nature or animal ornaments.

3. Don’t be afraid to mix different animal prints
There are so many different animal prints, and you love all of them? We feel you. Guess what? You don’t have to concentrate only on one print. Instead, mix a few in the same room, and it will look tasteful and incredibly stylish. Leopard with zebra, cheetah with leopard, cheetah with zebra -they might not be friends in real life but will make great combos in your interior.

4. Contrast colours will add an interest
Animal prints are diverse patterns, so it is easy to mix them with different colours. Almost any colour. It all comes down to your preference and the look you want to achieve.
Pastel colours like blush pink, cream, linen, mint, mustard will create subtle and ethnic atmosphere.
Bright colours including teal blue, fuchsia, jewel tones will complement the extravagance and fullness of any animal pattern, hence will create a very vivid and eye-catching interior.
To achieve the monochrome and neutral look, you can replicate individual pattern colours on other home accessories. So, if you go for leopard pattern you can play with colours like sand, brown and black; zebra – black and white and cheetah – black, white and grey.
